    Kim Grady 13U Coach

    Sport: Volleyball

    Favorite Verse:
“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

    Experience:
After playing volleyball through high school, I played competitive travel volleyball (beach & gym) throughout the southeast for 9 years. I married (Brian) at the age of 27 and had three children (Matt (20), Becca (19), Jacob (17). Once my youngest reached kindergarten, my coaching career began at Trinity Christian School in 2002. Trinity Christian was in their second year of volleyball and I coached the middle school for three years. Once Trinity Christian added grades 9-12, I was selected as the first head coach at Trinity Christian and helped establish a strong foundation for Trinity Christian’s championship program. Due to family priorities and kids activities, I chose to give up coaching for a couple of years. Once my daughter reached middle school and started playing volleyball, I returned to coaching middle school girls through the Coweta County Recreation Department. After one year in the Coweta County Recreation Department, I returned to Trinity Christian coaching their middle school program for two years. During this time, I also coached Southern Spirit Volleyball Club 13’s team in Peachtree City, GA. Prior to returning to Trinity Christian in 2017 to coach Trinity Christian’s junior varsity team, I served as an assistant on Landmark Christian School’s varsity volleyball team and head coach for the junior varsity and middle school programs.

    Personal Fact:
Married to Brian Grady (22 years). Three children (Matt-20, Becca-19, Jacob-17). I was a 3-sport athlete (volleyball, softball, basketball) in high school plus played club softball and volleyball after graduation.

    Why I love to coach:
I’ve known since high school that I wanted to be a coach. Playing sports had a huge impact on my life and I have a passion for influencing and helping develop young girls. I love being an influence to so many young girls as they try to figure out who they are and who they will become.

    Romans 8:28

    Experience:
My name is Becca Grady, I am 19 years old, and I grew up around watching my mom Kim Grady coach volleyball at Trinity. From a young age I was fascinated with the sport and began my journey when I was 12. I played for southern Spirits club volleyball team when I was 13 and continued to play at Trinity Christian Schools JV team when I was in the 8th grade. I transferred to Landmark Christian School and was a four year letterman on the varsity volleyball team. During high school I played club for A5 South, where I injured my knee resulting in two surgeries. After going through rehab for my knees I continued to play on my school team. I have continued to be involved in volleyball by helping my mom with coaching over the last few years.

    Personal Fact:

Learning to take all the skills from playing over the years, and turning that information to help younger kids has been an incredible experience. I love to see the improvements and the joy that comes from the girls just by being around and playing volleyball.

  • Sand Volleyball Director

    Sport: Volleyball

    Favorite Verse:
    Ephesians 2:8-9

    Experience:
My name is Joe Camp and I live in Senoia Ga. I’ve been married to Robin for 25 years and have two sons; Devin (23) & Mitch (20). My volleyball coaching covers over 20 years. In my 13 years of coaching high school I helped lead 3 separate programs (McIntosh, Whitewater, & Trinity Christian) to prolonged success; winning a combined 5 state championships at two of those schools. I spent 3 years as the Asst. Coach at the Univ. of West Ga. following my stint as a high school coach. I was in charge of recruiting, practice planning, & helping develop an offensive system as my primary responsibilities. As a club coach I’ve led both the 12s & 18s age groups to the USAV national tournament; with the 12s team finishing 25th in open. I’ve worked with every age group and a vast array of skill levels. Despite all my time on the hard court over the last 20 years; I’ve always loved the sand. As a younger adult I played in numerous sand tournaments. My best finish was 2nd place at the Atlanta Sand Championships at the open level (don’t ask what year, it was before you were born). I’ve maintained contact with the sand since retiring from competitive tournaments by playing on local sand courts with friends and fellow competitors. I still love to compete on the sand.

    Personal Fact:
My family and I have assisted in building 10 homes for families in Mexico & Guatemala through Casas por Cristo.

    Why I love to coach:
I was an undersized, unskilled, uncoordinated, want to be athlete as a young child. Through a lot of hard work and determination I became a competitive 3 sport athlete in high school. Sports taught me the value of hard work, teamwork, cooperation, unselfishness, and the discipline to complete difficult task. Coaching gives me the opportunity to pass these lessons to the next generation. I also have a passion for assisting young people navigate the challenges of becoming an adult and helping them develop a love for Jesus.
